Roald Dahl celebrated

In September we celebrated the 100th  birthday of much-loved children’s author, Roald Dahl. Classes tuned in for a special broadcast  including an all-singing,  all-dancing performance from the cast of Matilda the Musical, a drawing lesson from Quentin Blake and a behind-the scenes peek at Steven Spielberg’s The BFG. We also held a competition for children to design a birthday card to Roald Dahl. The entries were fantastic and it was very difficult to choose the winners. Each winner received a book token to be redeemed at our book fair.
