Arts Kickers Award

On Wednesday 29th March, Karen, Thomas, Helen and students Ahadu and Carla attended the prestigious Arts Kickers award ceremony at The Stage in Shoreditch. This was because our Year 3 and 4 children had been           nominated for the Future Artist Award category, for their fantastic Surrealism exhibition recently on show at our very own #TAG Gayhurst Art gallery. We are delighted to announce that we won! We were handed our award by the artist Gavin Turk, who was one of the judges. It was a fantastic evening and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Well done to our Year 3 and 4 classes and a huge thank you to Art Hoppers.                                                      

 Ahadu (Tokyo): “ It felt so nice to go up on stage and tell people how happy we were. It was such a great                experience meeting different people and  celebrating art.”               

 Carla (Rome class): “ I really enjoyed the   evening and I’m really happy that we won. I  really liked meeting the artists.”
